Will's First Thanksgiving

Will's First Thanksgiving was great. We ate lunch with the Haynes family and dinner with the Kingery family. Will said it best with his bib...that was the general consensus for the day. Will had a day full of family which is what the holidays are all about.

Hunting and Hanging Out on the Farm

Will is visiting Ros at the hunting cabin. He decided to dress the part. Of course, it will be many, many years before he will stay for the entire day.

G-Daddy and Will rest after a hard day.

We think he likes his overalls after all.

A Week in Virginia

We decided to spend the week of Thanksgiving at home in Virginia. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend more time with family prior to the busy holiday weekend. Grandma Kingery and Aunt Julie read to Will at nightime. Both Grandpas taught Will the valuable art of sleeping in front of the television.

Will is hanging out with the ladies. He spent some time of his cousin Taylor.

Two Months Old

Hard to believe, Will is nine weeks old. Time is flying by...that is what everyone said would happen. Will was 14 lbs 10 ounces and 24 inches long at his two month appt last Friday. He is ....a healthy growing fellow. He is laughing and cooing more and more each day. He makes us laugh everyday. He is wearing his "life is good" outfit today. It is fitting for our happy, healthy little man.

Ros is feeding Will a bottle for the first time. He took it like a champ and Ros is a professional himself. Now, the whole family is taking part in Will's meals.

Will's First Wedding

Will's first wedding was in Charleston, South Carolina. Nicole Fizzano (great long-time friend of Catherine's) and Michael Westman tied the knot. The wedding was great fun and so beautiful. It was our warmest and prettiest day of the week which made for a pleasant drive to Charleston.

Will's First Halloween

Will wanted to be a lobster for Halloween since we were spending it at the beach. Thankfully, due the cool, brisk temperatures, he was warm and snuggly in his costume.

Our Beach Vacation Favorties

Will loves mornings...he must take after his mommy. He has just finished his breakfast and is a happy camper.

At times, we had to bundle up at the beach. Will is ready for the day!

G-Daddy and Grammy take Will for a ride on the golf cart and head to the indoor pool.

This is our last day at the beach. Always the saddest day...you can see it in Will's eyes.

Will's New Favorite Hat

G-Daddy Haynes bought Will his first John Deere hat to keep the sun out of his eyes. Will is super cool in his hat and wore it proudly.

He wore it before bath time.
He wore it watching television.

He wore it at nap time.

He wore it at meal time.

He wore it well!!!

Will Finds Water!!

We took Will to the beach for the first time at eight weeks old. Since the weather in October is not exactly optimal for sunbathing, we chose the indoor pool for his first swim. He and Ros had a great time taking a dip. Although slightly confused at first, Will loved the water.

Ros turns the BIG 3-0!!

While in Virginia, we had a big birthday bash for Ros. Our family and friends came to Grandma and Grandpa Kingery's house for dinner and birthday cake.

Will Meets Virginia!

On October 17th, we traveled home to introduce Will to the rest of our family and friends. It was a beautiful fall weekend in Virginia. Will loved seeing his grandparents again and meeting his great-grandparents for the first time. Everyone had cameras ready for the big event. The great-grandparents did not mind at all to hold and love on Will. We think he was the life of the party!!

One Month Old

Last week, Will went for his one month checkup. He weighed 12 lbs and was 22 3/4 inches long. He is definitely growing!!! He continues to hold his head up and enjoys tummy time more and more. Ros and I can't believe he is already so old and so big...he changes every day. We are loving every moment. Next week, Will gets to meet his great-grandparents and more family at Ros' 30th birthday party in Virginia. Will is so excited....it is all he can grunt about.
